Mission Treasures: Historical Collection Revealed
Featuring historic artifacts from the Mission’s past that have not been seen in decades, if ever, the collection includes precious and rare paintings, religious artifacts, and documents related to the Mission’s history, dating back as early as the 1700s.

Native American Exhibit and Interpretive Room
Located in the West Wing Museum Building, this room houses authentic artifacts and an interactive station for visitors to engage with the Native American culture. Long before the Spanish arrived to build Mission San Juan Capistrano, the land of Orange County was home to the Acjachemen people.

Nest Reenactment Exhibit
Scientific experiment lead by cliff swallows expert Dr. Charles Brown which lures swallows back to nest using a replica wall of man-made nests in a colony-like setting similar to one that existed on the Ruins of the Great Stone Church prior to its 1990s stabilization.

South Wing-Padres Quarters
