Event Series Event Series: Native American Storytelling and Craft

Native American History and Crafts

Join award-winning Jacque Tahuka Nunez, an Acjachemen descendant and cultural storyteller on the 2nd Saturday of the month for Native American Storytelling and a take home craft from noon to 2:00 p.m.

Jacque will lead a dynamic cultural presentation describing the lifestyle of the Acjachemen Nation, Orange County’s first people through hands-on activities.

Adults and children of all ages are welcome! Free for Mission members or with paid admission. No reservation required.

February Craft: Yucca Cordage Rope
March Craft: Petroglyph Etching
April Craft: Abalone beaded Necklace
May Craft: Ring toss, Stave Game and Raffia Headband
June Craft: Rock Painting with Yucca Brush

Activity supplies are limited. Crafts subject to change.
