Journeys to the Past with Champion Pow Wow Dancers

November is Native American Heritage Month. Join us in celebrating Native American history at the Mission! In honor of the local Acjachemen people and people of all native communities, the Mission will be offering FREE special lunchtime programming from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30 featuring Jacque Tahuka Nunez, Journeys to the Past with Champion Pow Wow Dancers. Jacque Tahuka Nunez is a Native American Educator and member of the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians, Acjachemen Nation.

–  Join us at the Mission on Wednesday, November 16 from 10:00 a.m. to noon for our Basket Weaving Demonstrations led by our wonderful volunteers, members of the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians, Acjachemen Nation
