To request a field trip, please complete this online form. After completing this application, you will be redirected to a page confirming your booking submission. You will receive an instant email confirmation that your application was received. If do you not receive a confirmation email, your application was not submitted correctly. You will receive a confirmation via phone of one of your dates, no later than five working days. If a chosen date does not work, you will also be notified as to best possible date for your field trip visit.  If you prefer to fax us your request, please fill out the form below and print.  Please fax to (949) 481-9895.

To better inform you and ensure your visit is a success, you are invited to read through the Educator’s Guide, which details the Mission’s programs and processes designed for a positive field trip experience. There are tips and suggestions noted throughout the brochure. We hope you will consider them as you plan your field trip.

Onsite Learning Programs

Note - The Mission allows a 1:10 ratio of Free chaperones to students. Teachers and Aids are still free, as well. Due to the Mission’s limited capacity and student safety, we are not able to admit more than 1 parent chaperone for every 10 students to the Mission.

Virtual Field Trip Package (Includes both a Live Guided Virtual Field Trip, Pre-Recorded videos, and printable Distance Learning Passport Activity book ) $175 per class (1st class $175 up to 35 students, each class additional $100)

(offered Mondays and Fridays, 2 times/day, with maximum of 2 classes per session)

Any educational program, onsite or virtual, may be recorded for training purposes, however, Mission San Juan Capistrano does not authorize recordings done by outside entities unless authorized to do so.
