Wedding receptions and ceremonies are not allowed
on the Mission grounds. However, the Mission is available for private
parties such as corporate events, rehearsal dinners, or showers
for a fee. To contact the historic Mission regarding corporate events,

Though the Basilica (www.missionparish.org)
holds wedding ceremonies for Parish members, the historic Mission
typically does not allow wedding ceremonies to occur at the Serra
Chapel, unless the parties have ancestral ties to the Mission.
However, due to temporary closures of the Serra Chapel to accommodate
conservation work, weddings may be relocated to the Basilica until
June 2008. We regret any inconvenience this may cause to our guests.
Please keep in mind critical conservation is going on in the Chapel
through the end of 2008, and scaffolding may be in place depending
on the work being performed.
