I-5 Freeway/Ortega Highway Construction
Effective September - November 2014
The segment of Ortega from Del Obispo to El Camino Real is under construction which prohibits direct access from I-5 to Mission San Juan Capistrano. This segment is still on schedule to reopen December. 5.
As detours, we're guiding motorists down Del Obispo and right on Camino Capistrano or down Camino Capistrano from Junipero Serra Road.
All on- and off-ramps and both directions of Ortega Highway over the freeway are accessible
