Swallows Walk & Talk Tour

The arrival of the cliff swallows to the Mission every March 19th is world renowned. Swallows migrate 6,000 miles from Goya, Argentina to San Juan Capistrano in large groups. Some cliff swallow colonies number more than 3,500 nests.

Join us daily for the Swallows Walk & Talk tour to learn the facts about cliff swallows, view the swallows vocalization experiment, and hear the legend of the Swallows of Capistrano as told by Father St. John O’Sullivan, pastor of the Mission from 1910-33.
