The Historic Mission San Juan Capistrano is an idyllic setting of lush gardens, koi filled fountains, museum rooms, original adobe buildings and the famous Great Stone Church. Conveniently located half way between Los Angeles and San Diego, close to the freeway, minutes from the airport and walking distance from the train depot.

Hosting daytime seminars, evening events, and dazzling social affairs, the Mission has become an exciting venue for corporations worldwide. Capable of accommodating intimate groups of 50, galas for 800, or receptions and concerts accommodating up to 1000, offering 10 + acres that convey the ambiance of old world hospitality.

Make your event sparkle and shine by hosting it at the “Jewel of the Missions.” Create a “wow” factor as guests stroll beneath lighted archways and grand palms and jacaranda trees. Imagine enjoying your own private show: flamenco, mariachi or any fiesta you desire. It is a gift to each one of your guests to have the opportunity to experience this peaceful and idyllic setting, all within easy access to the 5 freeway and train station.

The charming adobe Soldiers Barracks Gallery with attached private patio is the perfect space for a daytime or evening event. This 500 sq. foot space is perfect for small corporate meetings or special events. This gallery offers the perfect blend of historic ambiance and modern technology, equipped with 15′ x 15′ retractable screen, ceiling mounted digital projector, dimmable chandelier and lighting, surround sound, wi-fi and podium with microphones. To enhance your guests’ experience and create long-lasting memories, you may choose to add special tours and group activities full of historic inspiration.

For your evening event, our Front and Central Courtyards can accommodate up to 800 seated guests or 1000 guests for cocktails. Wrapped around our lovely Spanish style fountain and Koi pond, amongst the roses and surrounded by warm adobe buildings, your guests will be awe struck at the beauty of an evening spent at the Mission.

Weddings are not permitted at Mission San Juan Capistrano
Weddings and Wedding Receptions are not permitted at the historic Mission, though rehearsal dinners, engagement parties and bridal showers are.
