Mission San Juan Capistrano is pleased to offer free daytime events for children (appropriate for ages 6-12). Parent or sitter must be present to participate.

The free activities with child admission include:

Tuesday: Craft Day
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Activities/Dates:  Miniature adobe house: June 22nd, July 13th, August 3rd and August 24th
                              Jump rope or lasso: June 29th, July 20th and August 10th
                              Cornhusk doll: July 6th, July 27th and August 17th
Location: Corral
Description: Each week the Mission will offer one of the following free take home crafts: Make your own jump rope or lasso, mini adobe house, or cornhusk doll.

Wednesday: Kids Garden Day
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Dates: June 23, 2010 - August 25, 2010
Location: Lower Garden/Demonstration Garden
Description: Kids explore mission produce gardens, talk with our Gardening Angel volunteers, taste fresh vegetables of the day, and decorate and take home a pot with seeds.

Thursday: Toy Day
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Dates: June 24, 2010 - August 26, 2010
Location: Central Courtyard
Description: Decorate and take home your own whirly-gig, as well as explore and play with a wide variety of other old fashion toys.
