Celebrate the holidays with Mission San Juan Capistrano! Held in conjunction with the City of San Juan Capistrano’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and community-wide holiday celebration, Mission San Juan Capistrano will host Christmas at the Mission on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Bring the family and enjoy this fun, festive and memorable evening together at the old Mission!
Christmas at the Mission features:
· Ringing of the historic bells
· An exhibition of local music performance groups throughout the Mission
· “Santa’s Workshop” with cookie and ornament decorating for kids (free while supplies last!)
· Food Vendors serving tamales, burgers, coffee, hot cider, hot cocoa, sweets and more
· The beautiful historic Mission festively lit up for this special after-hours event, and more!
Performance Groups Include:
· Dickens Carolers
· Chamber Singers
· Orchestra Musicians
· Mariachis, and more!

Admission is FREE for the following groups:
• Kids 3 and Under
• Mission Members and Parish Members with Member I.D. Cards
• Mission Volunteers with I.D. Badges.
• Active Military with I.D. Card – Free military prayer coin for military personnel

Rain Policy: Please Note: Christmas at the Mission will be held rain or shine. Ticket purchases for Christmas at the Mission are final. No refunds, exchanges or transfers will be honored. Drop off a food donation anytime during these dates to the Mission Gate House 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or upon entry for Christmas at the Mission.
Donate to the food drive and receive a ticket good for a return visit to the Mission in 2015! (Limit one per family, please. Ticket for return visit valid January 1 - March 31, 2015.)

City of San Juan Capistrano’s Tree Lighting Ceremony: An annual tradition celebrated in Historic Town Center Park. Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m. on December 6th and is followed by a variety of free activities for families in the downtown walking area. Getting to San Juan Capistrano: The City of San Juan Capistrano and OCTA will offer a shuttle service from 3:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. for the Tree Lighting Ceremony & Festivities.
